We're hiring! AV Service and SMD LED Repair Engineer

Location: Workshop (Maidenhead, Berkshire) & site-based
Reporting to: Support Manager
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced AV Service Engineer with a rare and valuable additional skill of hands-on SMD LED repair.
This is a specialist role combining professional AV service and support with component-level dvLED module repair. You’ll play a key part in keeping critical customer systems live, reducing downtime, and strengthening our in-house LED service capability.
If you enjoy fault-finding, precision technical work, and being the “go-to” expert when things get complex, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Diagnosing and repairing professional AV systems, including dvLED displays
· Providing onsite and remote service support in line with SLAs
· Carrying out LED component-level repairs (LED replacement, pad repair, QA)
· Acting as an escalation point for complex service issues
· Supporting warranty, RMA, and root-cause analysis activities
· Working closely with our Support, Projects, and Workshop teams
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
· Proven experience as an AV Service Engineer in professional AV environments
· Practical, hands-on experience with LED repair
· Strong dvLED fault-finding and diagnostic skills
· High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
· Full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable:
· Manufacturer dvLED training or certification
· Experience working in SLA-driven service environments
